Biography

   Brent Eisenberg is the founding partner of DeHay & Elliston’s Midwest Branch Office based in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Eisenberg serves on the national coordinating counsel team for a multinational power company in the Fortune 200. Mr. Eisenberg coordinates national trial and settlement negotiation strategy with the client’s general counsel, insurance carriers and local counsel across the country in the defense of asbestos related claims.  Eisenberg is a go-to settlement negotiator for the firm’s clients and negotiates global settlement packages in cases filed across the country.

Eisenberg also manages the defense of mesothelioma, lung cancer and  ovarian cancer claims filed against an industrial talc manufacturer in the midwest.  In 2021, Mr. Eisenberg won a ruling barring plaintiff’s experts in federal court that was well-publicized across social media platforms and published in the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin.  See Johnson v. Eisenberg achieved the highest rating “AV-Preeminent” from his peers as published by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Director. From 2017-2022, Eisenberg was selected by Illinois Super Lawyers as a Rising Star among the top 2.5% of Illinois attorneys who practice in the area of personal injury and product liability. Eisenberg was selected by America’s Top 100 LLC as one of Illinois’ top 100 elite civil defense litigators. 

Eisenberg earned his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law, where was awarded the CALI Award for Excellence in Advanced Trial Advocacy and named to the Dean’s List.
